What's Happening Here (at the Inn)
The weekend of July 6th & 7th, we had another beautiful wedding here. Trey Hoover & Amy Jelovsek were married outside in our wedding area and they enjoyed an indoor sit-down dinner, catered by The Colorful Palate. Below are a couple of photos.

Due to the increase in Biltmore ticket prices (gate prices are: $45 Sun-Fri.; $49 Sat.), individual tickets and packages including Biltmore tickets purchased through Blake House have increased slightly. We still offer a rather substantial price reduction when you purchase Biltmore tickets through one of our packages.

August is another busy summer month before school starts again, but we still have openings in mid to late-August. We will consider last minute one night stays on weekends; however, there is a $20.00 one night premium added to the nightly rate.

August Contest

August's contest will be a little different. Rather than having you answer questions, I would like to offer a 2 night, mid-week stay for 2 in either the Azalea or Magnolia Room (Sunday - Thursday) for the best "essay" on why you deserve to get away from it all for a couple of days.

Keep it short, but give it your best shot. There's no right or wrong answer, but the judging is my subjective opinion. You must be willing to have your story included in next month's Newsletter (I will change the names to protect your identity). All entries must be received by August 31 to be considered.
